This contact will result in power steering fluid leakage from the reservoir and loss of power steering. Resolution  Inspect for a Power Steering Module (see Figure 1) or, if the truck has not yet been delivered, obtain a VIN and Contact your GM dealer to determine if RPO code NV8 applies to that truck.  If RPO Code NV8 is present, the truck is equipped with Power Steering Active Hydraulic Assist, and the module will require repositioning.  Order A900017 Accessory Kit through regular VMAC parts channels. This installation will reposition the Power Steering Module to create sufficient clearance between the module and power steering reservoir to prevent contact.
