Procedure Current Generation Digital Control Box 1. Press and hold OFF button for 5 seconds (minimum) until DIAGNOSTICS screen appears. 2. Release the OFF button and then press and hold the OFF button until “200 HR CLEAR?” or “500 HR CLEAR?” appears. 3. Keep pressing the OFF button until message “CLEAR OK” appears. 4. Use same procedure for 400 hr/1000 hr service. 5. Press the ON and OFF buttons at the same time to exit diagnostics mode. First Generation Digital Control Box (2007 era) A limited number of VR systems with the first-generation digital control box required different input to access the service reminder clearing function. If your 2007 era control box does not clear itself using the current generation instruction, perform the following steps: 1. Press and hold OFF button for 5 seconds (minimum) until DIAGNOSTICS screen appears 2. Press and hold the ON button until E01 XXX XX XX appears. Release the ON button. 3. Press and release the ON button repeatedly to scroll through 10x Error Code records (E01–E10) and 10x Service Time records (S01-S10) until 200HR CLEAR? or 400HR CLEAR? appears. 4. Keep pressing the OFF button until message CLEAR OK appears. 5. Press the ON and OFF button at the same time to exit diagnostics mode. In all VR digital control boxes, the time at which a service reminder is cleared is recorded as a service record that can be retrieved when needed. See “Control Box Features and Operation” in your owner’s manual.
