OVERVIEW Due to running changes on Ford’s production line, the OBD-II wire colours running to the OBD-II port on the vehicle may differ from what is indicated in the VMAC installation manual. RESOLUTION VMAC engineers have confirmed that while the wire colour may differ on some vehicles, the OBD-II pin location that the VMAC system connects to remains the same. In cases where the wire colours on the vehicle doe not match what is indicated in the manual, the VMAC Digital Throttle Control (DCT) will connect to the twisted pair of wires populating pins 20 and 21 on the rear of the Ford OBD-II connector (Figure 1) or pins 6 and 14 as viewed from the front of the OBD-II connector port (Figure 2). Figure 1 - Ford Connector on Rear of OBD-II port (Rear view of Ford Connector) Figure 2 - Ford OBD-II Port (Front view of Ford Connector)  Splice the light blue wire from the throttle control to the wire at pin 19 (Figure 1) / pin 6 (Figure 2).  Splice the grey wire from the throttle control to the wire at pin 20 (Figure 1) / pin 14 (Figure 2). .
