It is the responsibility of the installer of the VMAC UNDERHOOD system to verify that a single alternator will meet or exceed the operational charging demands of the truck and its equipment. Poor battery charging and any problems resulting from charging system alterations including the removal of the OEM secondary alternator during upfitter modifications are non-warrantable by both Ford and VMAC. The conversion to single alternator will necessitate a change to one of the following belts: VMAC: 1610101, Gates: K060802, or Ford: JK6-805/LC3Z-8620-C All other required parts are included in the UNDERHOOD kit.
