Make very small adjustments (less than 1/4 in) and retest the system to prevent having to reset both the coarse and fine adjustment of the valve. The unloader valve is used to signal the throttle to either increase, or decrease rpm in response to air demand. The Unloader Valve is adjusted at the factory and should only require adjustment when relocating the valve from the WHASP Tank to the Remote Control Panel. When mounted to the WHASP Tank, the Unloader Valve is adjusted to 160 psi to counteract the effect of vibration. Once the valve is relocated to the Remote Control Panel, it must be adjusted to 150 psi (the maximum system pressure of the unit). Before you start When adjusting the Unloader Valve, ensure that only the “Pressure Adjustment Screw” is adjusted (Figure 1). Figure 2 – Adjusting the Unloader Valve  Loosen the “Pressure Adjustment Locknut”.  Rotate the “Pressure Adjustment Screw” 1/4 in (clockwise to increase pressure / counterclockwise to decrease pressure).  Tighten the “Pressure Adjustment Locknut”.  Test the system, repeating the steps above if necessary. Clockwise to increase pressure Counterclockwise to reduce pressure
